About Us

At Pawsitivity Project, our mission is to efficiently help humanity by providing financial assistance for veterinary bills, ensuring that every pet owner can access the care their animals need, regardless of their financial situation.

To ensure that no pet's life is cut short by financial hardship, by providing urgent medical grants and compassionate support to families in crisis, keeping beloved animals healthy and where they belong, at home.

Mission Statement: We want to help those who love and cherish their pets as much as we do.

President

I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I drove my parents crazy by constantly bringing home random animals that needed care. That passion led me to pursue my training at the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology, where I became a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Along the way, I gained hands-on experience working in an emergency and critical care hospital in Denver and spent countless hours volunteering with local shelters and rescues. All of these experiences brought me to where I am today.

At home, life is just as full. My husband and I keep busy with our two kids and our two fur babies, who always manage to bring a little extra joy (and chaos!) into our days.

From Florida lizards to Tennessee cattle, my love for animals knows no bounds. Growing up, I was the kid constantly exploring the outdoors and wondering how I could help the wildlife I encountered. Today, I’ve turned that childhood passion into a lifelong mission.

I am a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences in December 2025. Along the way, I have been fortunate to gain experience across the country, from shadowing veterinarians in West Point, Nebraska, to working in a mixed-animal practice in Knoxville, Tennessee. Each of these experiences has been a stepping stone toward my ultimate goal of becoming a veterinarian. I am driven by the desire to provide the highest quality care to the animals that give us so much.

At home, life is a bit quieter but just as fulfilling. I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog, Izzy. To unwind, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen cooking or baking, getting lost in a good book, or catching up on the latest documentaries.
